  10. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  12. To run Jigsaw for Windows, you need Windows 3.1 (tm), an industry-standard
  13. computer with a 80286 or higher CPU, a VGA or higher resolution display,
  14. and a mouse.

  29. INSTALLATION

  31. Use PKUNZIP to extract the archived files.  For example, 
  32.        
  33.        PKUNZIP JIGSAW20.ZIP

  35. RUNNING JIGSAW
  36. --------------
  37. To add the Jigsaw icon to the Program Manager, Select "New..." from the 
  38. "File" menu.  Choose "Program Item" and click OK.  Then use the browser
  39. to select file JIGSAW.EXE.
  40.  
  41. To run Jigsaw, double-click on the Jigsaw icon.
  42.  
  43. You can also run Jigsaw using the "Run..." command from the Program Manager 
  44. "File" menu.

  46. PUZZLE FILES AND DISPLAYS
  47. -------------------------
  48. The puzzle files included with this game are designed for use with VGA or
  49. VESA-compatible Super VGA displays.  The 256 color puzzles can be used
  50. on a VGA display, however a Super VGA is required to show the proper colors.

  52. If you have a VGA operating in 640x480 16-color mode, try the following 
  53. 16-color puzzle files:

  55.     CHEETAH.JIG, OPUS.JIG, LNDSCAPE.JIG, HUMBIRD.JIG, EIFFEL.JIG

  57. If you have a Super VGA operating in 640x480 256-color mode, try these
  58. 256-color puzzles:

  60.     BALLOONS.JIG, PIGS.JIG, MONALISA.JIG, EAGLE.JIG, CAROUSEL.JIG
  61.  
  62. If your Super VGA uses the 1024x786 256-color mode, these puzzles are
  63. recommended:

  65.     KITTY.JIG, JUNKS.JIG, REAPER.JIG, POLAR.JIG, BEARCUBS.JIG
